MYSORE: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday that the Congress high command will take a call on deputy chief minister’s post and cabinet expansion in the state.

He was speaking to reporters on his arrival at the Mysore Airport to take part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new Police Commissioner’s office building among others.

When asked about Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha candidate A H Vishwanath’s statement that an internal sabotage led to his defeat, he said: “Let Vishwanath give names of those who worked against him and the same will be looked into.”

Meanwhile former chief minister S M Krishna said the Congress should introspect after it suffered a humiliating defeat both at the Centre and the state in the Lok Sabha elections.

He said it is high time the Congress strengthened from the grass root level under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi by bringing youths and women into the party fold.

Asked about Vokkaligas supporting the BJP in the election to defeat the Congress, he said,” how can we presume that Vokkaligas have voted for the BJP when there was secret ballot,” he asked.
