SAGAR: Freedom fighter, socialist leader and pioneer of the Kagodu Satyagraha H Ganapathiyappa passed away from a cardiac arrest in Vadnal village on Tuesday. He was 91.
He is survived by his wife, five sons and five daughters. His last rites will be held at his village at 10 am on Wednesday. A family source said that after he developed breathing problems at 11.30 am, a doctor was called. But Ganapathiyappa did not respond to treatment and died at 11.55 am.
