BELLARY: A girl from Mumbai has accused Govardhan Murthy, a realtor settled in Bangalore, of sexually harassing her.
All-India Human Rights Association’s state president Mamatha told reporters here on Wednesday that Murthy sexually abused the girl four times and threatened her. She said the victim, a bar girl in Bangalore, approached her when she was on an official visit to Hospet on Tuesday.
As the girl is presently in Bellary, Mamatha decided to conduct a press meet here. A memorandum has been submitted to the Bellary SP in this regard, she added.
21-yr-old Raped
Chitradurga: A 21-year-old girl on Wednesday accused one Anjinappa, also 21, of raping her at Katappanahatti village of Challakere taluk.
In a complaint lodged at Turuvanuru police station, the girl from Raichur district said she and her mother were staying at the Durgamma temple in Bogalerahatti three days ago when the accused, along with his friends Raghu and Devaraj, kidnapped and raped her.
