MANGALORE: : Ten years after separation, a middle-aged man of Thokkottu has sought Ullal police help to trace his wife. Police said, Annappa Naik (50) married Kasthuri 22 years ago and has two children. It is alleged that Naik was an alcoholic and used to assault his wife and children. As a result, Kasthuri left him and settled with her children in Kerala. Naik, a daily wager, started living in bus stand and other public places. He recently met with a road accident and injured his legs. It is said that now he needs someone to take care for him which is why he asked the police to trace his wife. Police said Naik’s wife is not willing to live with him.
