BENGALURU: The state Department of Pre University Education has invited applications from government, private aided and unaided PU colleges for the best teachers award.
In a notification, the department stated that the main criterion for the award is that a teacher’s class must have at least 90 per cent pass percentage for the past five years.
The deputy directors of all the districts have been directed to send the list as early as possible as the award will be given on September 5 on Teachers’ Day. There will be five awards for teachers from various districts and one best principal award.
There should also be documents to prove the 90 per cent overall pass percentage.
