Joint Session to be Held in February

BENGALURU: The joint session of the Karnataka Legislature will be held in February, which would be addressed by Governor Vajubhai Vala. The customary address of the joint session by the Governor which is usually held in January, is being held in February this year as renovation works are still underway in the Assembly hall.

Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa, who had visited the Assembly hall recently, instructed the contractors to expedite the works.

The hall is being renovated at a cost of `17 crore, which includes electrical and interior works worth `12 crore.
