Bovi Meet on January 18

SHIVAMOGGA: Siddarameshwara Jayanti and a Bovi community convention will be held at the Neelakantha Convention Hall in Bengaluru on January 18, Seer Immadi Siddarameshwara of Bovi Gurupeetha has said. At a press conference, he said necessary preparations are under way. 

More than 45 lakh Bovi community members are in the state, of which five lakh people are expected to take part. “The convention hopes to find solutions to problems related to stone mining, sand policy and construction labourers’ problems,” the seer said. He said the government should conduct the caste-based census in a scientific way.
