BENGALURU: The High Court on Tuesday asked that the name of respondents be changed to Governor’s office instead of the Governor in a petition.
T J Abraham had filed a petition challenging the appointment of the chairperson and vice-chairperson to the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).
He contended in the petition that there are no proper guidelines framed and no transparency in the procedure to nominate the chairman, vice-chairman and members to the KPSC. A division bench headed by Chief Justice D H Waghela and Justice Ram Mohan Reddy directed the amendment in the petition.
