TUMAKURU: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Sunday said he would be happy if either Arvind Kejriwal or Kiran Bedi become the chief minister of Delhi as both of them were part of his anti-corruption mission.
He was speaking to reporters after calling on centenarian seer Shivakumara Swami of Siddaganga Mutt. “I respect both of them.... they both were our workers. Let the people of Delhi decide,” he said.
Kejriwal is heading the Aam Aadmi Party, while BJP has declared Bedi as its chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.
He said that politicians alone cannot bring about a change without contributions from social workers and reformers. He appreciated the efforts of the Siddaganga Mutt in imparting education. He also addressed the students of the mutt. Junior pontiff Siddalinga Swami and others were present.
