BENGALURU: Former chief minister and JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy is set to intensify his attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as he prepares to submit documents on the Arkavathy Layout denotification issue to the Justice H S Kempanna Commission probing the issue.
Kumaraswamy, who claims to have collected vital documents to substantiate his charge that Siddaramaiah had violated rules while denotifying large tracts of land in the layout, is expected to submit the documents to the commission in the next few days.
Land Ordinance
JD(S) has also decided to protest against the Central government’s ordinance to amend the Land Acquisition Act. “The Narendra Modi government is compromising the interests of farmers to help the corporate sector. H D Deve Gowda will take up the issue strongly in Parliament, while JD(S) workers will hold protests all over the state,” Kumaraswamy told reporters on Monday, after participating in the Republic Day celebrations at the party office.
