KALABURAGI: The JD(S) will distribute booklets on the alleged Arkavathy scam, with details from 2003 to 2014, to all the 224 MLAs during the legislature session, party state president H D Kumaraswamy said in Jewargi on Wednesday.
The session begins on Monday. Kumaraswamy told reporters that he would lodge a complaint with the Kempanna Commission probing the illegal land denotification charge against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
“I wanted to keep mum on the issue. But it was Siddaramaiah who dragged my name into this matter,” he said. However, he cast doubts on whether the commission would be able to get to the bottom of the scam, and called for a high-level inquiry.
