Primary and Secondary Results will be Out After CET

BENGALURU: The state government is confident of completing the evaluation process in 12 days and announcing results in first week of May, State primary and secondary education minister Kimmane Rathnakar said on Tuesday.

“Though the results will be ready by May 2, they will not be declared on that date as the Common Entrance Test is scheduled on May 4, 5 and 6. In case we announce results even before CET exams, it will create tension among students,” said an official.

“If the lecturers refuse to call off the strike and take part in evaluation work from April 13, we have alternative arrangement. We have convinced around 12,000 eligible teachers from government and private colleges to evaluate the papers from April 14,” Kimmane said.

The Karnataka State High School Assistant Masters Association has warned they would boycot evaluation work of SSLC exam papers.
