MYSURU: Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimmappa on Tuesday directed tahsildars to legalise houses constructed on government land for human dwelling and give position certificates by December.
Speaking after a review meeting here, he said houses constructed in urban and rural areas will be regularised. “Houses built in 20x30 sqft, 30x40 sqft plots will be regularised,” he said. He directed Panchayat development officers and village accountants to conduct survey based on maps to regularise all houses.
On Jadhav’s role in land row
On the alleged land encroachment by Chief Secretary Arvind Jadhav’s family members, Thimmappa said he has no information about it. He said the CM has assured to look into the issue.
