Minor girl gang-raped in Srirangapatna dhaba

MYSURU: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a gang of four at a dhaba in Srirangapatna. The accused are Nadeem Pasha and his friends Tanveer Pasha, Saddam Shariff and Munna Ali.

Nadeem, who resides next to the girl’s house at Shanthinagar, had befriended her. He had convinced her to join him for lunch on November 14 and had taken her to a dhaba and allegedly raped her along with his friends.
The victim’s parents filed a case at Udayagiri Police Station. Cops say the accused had planned to rape her earlier and booked a room in a known dhaba. The cops are on lookout for the accused.

Four women hurt as car hits electricity pole
Mandya: Four women from Bengaluru were injured after their car hit an electricity pole at Shettihalli in Srirangapatna taluk on Saturday. The women were on their way to Mysuru on a day’s trip along with three children in their car. While taking a turn near Hosur Gate, the vehicle hit the pole. The injured - Megha who was at the wheel, Josna, Jessita and Desha are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mysuru. The children suffered minor injuries.
