Her horror story came to light in a government hospital, when, after delivering the child, she was reluctant to take the baby with her.

The young woman, who was working with a catering service, was a minor when she was first raped by her boyfriend. Later, using threats, her boyfriend forced her to have sex with two other men.
Police sources added that she used to be regularly taken to a government office premises on Karwar Road where the three men would rape her.

They threatened to kill her if she revealed it to anyone. When she became pregnant, she narrated the ordeal to her mother.

Her father had already abandoned them. The mother and daughter remained silent and she gave to birth to a child in a government hospital in Duragdabail in Old Hubballi.
