Former Cong MLA, others join BJP

BENGALURU: FORMER Congress MLA N L Narendra Babu, former State Information Commissioner Shankar R Patil and many Congress and JD(S) members from the legal fraternity joined BJP here on Sunday.Many film and TV artistes, including Ashalatha and Jyothi, joined the party in the presence of BJP national general secretary  in charge of party affairs in Karnataka, Muralidhara Rao, and BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa.

Retired deputy superintendent of police Somashekar Chabbi and social  activist M G Rangadhamaiah too joined the party on Sunday.Speaking on the occasion, Yeddyurappa said that many prominent leaders from other  parties are set to join BJP in the coming days.Yeddyurappa also added that the BJP is well on course to realise its ‘Mission 150’ as the people of the state are now real eager to vote out the Siddaramaiah government.
