BENGALURU: A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus met with a tragic accident near Hirebagewadi at Belagavi in the early hours of Saturday morning, resulting in death of two passengers. Three other passengers sustained injuries in the incident.
The accident, which occurred at Badekolla cross, happened when the bus hit the roadside divider and toppled. The bus was coming from Udupi towards Belagavi when the accident happened. According to KSRTC officials, the injured have been admitted to the Bagewadi government hospital.
Senior officials rushed to the spot to find out what led to the accident.
