MYSURU: The Forest Department has been caught in an embarrassing situation with it falling prey to sandalwood thieves who axed and made away with three of the prized trees from the premises of Aranya Bhavan itself, the forest headquarters.According to a complaint filed with the Ashokapuram police, forest officials stated that the incident happened around 4 am on Monday.
