THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Electricity Employees Confederation (INTUC) has demanded an inquiry into the continued losses suffered by the State owing to damaged generators and equipment installed under the SNC Lavalin deal. The CBI should include this aspect in its ongoing investigation, Confederation leaders said. Confederation leaders said that the KSEB had decided to renovate the three power generating plants which were originally renovated under the controversial SNC Lavalin deal. As a first step, generators and related machinery at the Pallivasal station are to be phased out, they alleged.
