THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The population enumeration under Census 2011 will be held from February 9 to 28, 2011, with a revisional round from March 1 to 5, director of Census Operations, Kerala, V M Gopala Menon said here on Tuesday.
In this phase of the census, details of each individual such as name, age, marital status, religion, whether belonging to SC/ ST communities, literacy status, disability particulars, characteristics of workers and non-workers, fertility particulars and migration characteristics will be collected.
Around 66,000 enumerators and 11,800 supervisors will be deployed for collecting the details. 1,740 master trainers will be appointed to train them. The officers are to be trained in December and January.
The field personnel will be sourced from Government Departments, PSUs and semi-Government organisations.
The House-listing and Housing Census, the first phase of Census 2011, was completed in the State during April-May 2010, Gopala Menon said.
