20,000 title deeds this year: Kerala CM

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Saturday said that the government had started the process to give land and title deeds to all landless people in the state. The registration process for the landless people to get land has been extended by one more month, he said. He was speaking after distributing around 2,000 title deeds to eligible people in the district as part of the first anniversary celebrations of the UDF, in Thrissur.

“The government will issue 20,000 title deeds to eligible people in the state this year,” the Chief Minister said.
