CPM Politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said here on Monday that the nationalised banks are becoming agents of big commercial organisations.
He was speaking at the diamond jubilee celebrations of Kodakkad Service Cooperative Bank at Cheruvathur. He also said that the cooperative banks are setting example by offering customer-friendly loans unlike the nationalised banks.
The function was inaugurated by Congress(S) leader K Ramachandran.
