KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala today saidpersonal attacks against police officials inquiring into the murder of Marxistrebel T P Chandrasekharan would demoralise them
Speaking to mediapersons here, he alleged that CPI(M) wasridiculing personnel of the Special Investigation Team, which would only dampentheir morale.
On the reported visit of eight CPI(M) legislators and wifeof P Mohanan to Vadakara police station to see the leader, arrested inconnection with the murder, he said it was incorrect to do so without obtainingpermisson from the court.
He said steps would soon be taken to reconstitute KPCC.
A large posse of police personnel, including commandos werepresent at the Government guest house from where Chennithala addressed themedia, in the wake of the recent anonymous call, threatening to kill him.
Asked about the presence of a strong police contingent,Chennithala said he was least worried about threats to his life.
