Ice-cream parlour case: Rauf meets Kerala CM

K A Rauf, who made shocking revelations against his estranged relative and Minister for Industries P K Kunhalikkutty, met Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and demanded a CBI inquiry into the controversial icecream parlour sex scandal case.

He met the Chief Minister at the latter’s residence at Puthuppalli around 8. 30 am on Sunday.

It is learnt that Rauf informed the Chief Minister that his life was under threat ever since he made the disclosure.

Rauf said that attempts were being made to entrap him in forged cases, and the government should arrange necessary legal protection for him.

Also, in the wake of the staunch efforts to sabotage the probe, the case should be handed over to the CBI, Rauf reportedly demanded.

The Chief Minster spent around 5 minutes with Rauf.

However, sources said that the Chief Minister did not respond to the demands made by Rauf.

Rauf also refused to comment on the details of the meeting.

It is also learned that Rauf’s visit was in the wake of the rampant allegations that the reports submitted by the police in the courts were in favour of P K Kunhalikutty
