An autorickshaw driver was killed when a speeding bus rammed into his vehicle on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Shaju, 40 , of Manakkodi.
“The bus, which was heading tow a r d s Thriprayar from Thrissur, rammed into the auto while attempting to overtake another vehicle,” the police said.
Shaju was tossed out of the vehicle and his head smashed against the pavement of the road. Though he was rushed to a nearby private hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead.
