Acquisition: Land owners meet CM

The land owners along the Banerjee Road, M G Road and the Jos-South Railway Station Road,  affected by the Kochi metro rail land acquisition, spoke to the Chief Minister regarding the price determined for the acquired land. The discussion was made in the presence of Hibi Eden MLA, district collector Sheik Pareeth and other officials of the Revenue Department.

The district collector suggested that the land value be fixed by Union Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies K V Thomas and Hibi Eden MLA based on the market value. In order to discuss the issue, an urgent meeting of the land owners will be held on Saturday at 5 pm at Hotel Durbar Residency here.
