Strip League of education portfolio: KSU

Dealing a blow to the ruling UDF Government, the Kerala Students Union (KSU) has openly demanded the government to take away the Education portfolio from the Muslim League.

The KSU blamed the League of functioning in a biased manner.

A resolution passed at a meeting of the KSU at Kuttikanam the other day, said that the Muslim League is on a spree to paint the education sector ‘green’, after it was coloured ‘red’ by the LDF government.

The resolution passed at a one-day workshop was presented by KSU district secretary Akbar T L. It alleged that the Muslim League’s official and non-official committees were busy implementing their personal agenda.

This has brought ill-name to the government, while all the good things done by the government have gone unnoticed, it said.

The resolution lamented that the Muslim Students Federation managed to get nominated to the Mahatma Gandhi University syndicate, though it has no unit in central Kerala.
