Film director Blessy expressed his happiness after he was selected for the State Award for the best director. The award was given for the movie ‘Pranayam’.
Talking to reporters at his home, Blessy thanked the people for their support. He said that he had expected the best actor and actress award also for the movie.
His wife Mini distributed sweets on Thursday after the news came out. “When the award was declared I was in Tiruvananthapuram with O N V Kurup and M Jayachandran, discussing my new movie on motherhood,” Blessy said.
Blessy’s next flick is based on actress Shweta Menon’s pregnancy and delivery.
