Man falls off train, dies

A 46-year-old man died after he fell off a moving train near Mulamkunnathukavu near here on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Nawas of Kollam. A train ticket from Kollam to Mumbai was found in the victim’s body. The man had slipped off the footboard of the train as it was manoeuvring a lengthy curve near Mulamkunnathukavu, the Railway police said.

The victim, who was found lying near the tracks, was rushed to the nearest hospital. He was declared dead by the doctors.
