Government moving on path of corruption: RSP

The state committee meeting of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) has alleged that the UDF Government is moving on the path of corruption.

The state committee cited instances of corruption in the decision to give aided status to unaided schools in the private sector in Malabar, permission to fill paddyfields for Aranmula airport, amending land use laws in the plantation sector and allowing filling up several water bodies to help land mafia.

Farmer suicides are increasing day by day in the state. It is against the background of continuing problems in the state that the people are being burdened with a hike in power tariff charges.

While the UDF is going ahead with such anti-people policies, the divided LDF has been unable to effectively counter it, evaluated the state committee.
