BJP state spokesman George Kurien has said that the state office-bearers meeting held here on Thursday had observed that both the ruling and Opposition fronts in the state were in collusion with the CBI in sabotaging the Kaviyoor sex scandal case to protect some of the political leaders and their sons involved in the case. He said both the fronts have joined the CBI in defaming the victims of the case. “The CBI has been taking the position that it was Anakha’s father Narayanan Namboodiri who raped her.” He pointed out that it was the responsibility of the CBI to find out the real culprits. Instead, they are propagating falsehood that cannot be accepted in a civilized society, he said.
