Preparations for the annual vallasadya offerings at Lord Parthasarathi temple began on Sunday with the temple thantri Kuzhikattillathu Vasudevan Bhattathiri handing over the light lit from the sreekovil to Devaswom Commissioner N Vasu, who lighted the traditional lamp. K Sivadasan Nair MLA lighted the ‘pandaramaduppu’, marking the beginning of the vallasadya preparations. Palliyoda Seva Sangham president K V Sambadevan, secretary Ratheesh R Mohan and treasurer Mohanachandran were present at the ceremony.
