Parishat flays investors’ summit

All the projects in the upcoming ‘Emerging Kerala’ initiative are aimed at filling of paddy fields and wetlands and handing over of public lands easily to business groups, said leaders of the Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishat Kozhikode District Committee, according to a statement here on Friday.

KSSP district committee convener Manalil Mohanan and chairman C Achuthan alleged that instead of resolving issues in paddy cultivation and tackling decline of coconut prices, announcing eduhealth city, centres of excellences, five-star hospitals and sand processing will not help the development of common people.
