Clearing the air on the rift between him and Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh, Minister K C Joseph has said that he has not given any complaint to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi against the Union Minister.

He denied the complaint following news reports that he told UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi that the Union Rural Development Ministry has been unfavourable to the state.

The rift with the Union Minister surfaced after the Union Rural Development Department refused to include dairy farming and the coir sector under the MNREGS programme.
