Man held with forged passport

Alappuzha native Reji Mon, 42, a passenger from Abu Dhabi, was detained by the Emigration Department at the Kochi airport on Wednesday evening.

Reji Mon was travelling on a forged passport that he had availed of from Abu Dhabi.

On inquiry, Reji Mon said that his original passport was held back by his sponsor at Abu Dhabi, hence he had to go for a forged one.
