Higher education panel to hold sittings

A committee formed by the Higher Education Council to study the problems faced by non-teaching staff in universities and its affiliated colleges will conduct sittings in Kannur, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram.

The sittings will be held at the Kannur University on Tuesday, MG University on September 29, and at the Kerala State Higher Education Council on October 3.

Representatives of organisations of non-teaching staff, social workers and individuals can give suggestions. Committee chairman Prof K Ravindra Nath, Pro- Vice Chancellor, Calicut University, convenor Prof Lopez Mathew (member of the Higher Education Council) and other members will attend the sitting.
