The condition of veteran actor Thilakan is critical, according to the latest medical bulletin. On Sunday, Thilakan underwent two dialysis after the functioning of his kidneys failed. There is no significant improvement in the functioning of his heart and kidneys. He is still on ventillator support.
Earlier, there were plans to shift the actor to Vellore Hospital. But since there was no significant improvement in his condition,the plan was dropped. His close relatives are at the hospital. Health Minister V S Sivakumar told mediapersons, after visiting Thilakan, that his condition was serious. Thilakan was admitted to the hospital on August 23.
