The draft of the land data bank was published on Monday. The Panchayat Secretary published the data bank at the panchayat level.
Among the objectives of the land data bank are to prevent illegal encroachment on government lands and effective implementation of Conservation of Paddy and Wetlands Act.
A committee has been set up for hearing and redressal of complaints. The public can submit their grievances if any in a month’s time.
