The foundation stone for the proposed Nurul Islam Madrassa at Panayakadavu Muhayuddin Juma Masjid at Chengamanad was laid by Panakad Syed Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal here the other day.
With the rise in the number of children attending classes at the madrassa, the proposal to renovate the place was put forth.
