Hunt on for football talents

The search of the Express Group to spot young football talents in the state will be resumed  when  Union Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Ajay Maken  kicks off ‘Goal 2013’ at Sacred Heart College ground at Thevara on Wednesday.

Actor Mammootty will be the guest of honour at the opening of  the inter-collegiate tournament, which will also be attended by Hibi Eden, MLA.  Others expected to be present are BJP state president  V Muraleedharan, CPI state secretary Pannyan Raveendran, Kerala Football Association president K M I Mather and secretary P Anil Kumar.

It will also be an occasion for the  reunion for  the 1973 Kerala state football team which won the Santosh Trophy for the first time in the state’s history.
