A-VIEW in Kolkata, Bhubaneswar

With a mission to promote e-learning and disseminating quality education, Amrita e-Learning Research Lab will launch its indigenously developed e-learning software A-VIEW (Amrita Virtual Interactive e-Learning World) for universities and colleges in the eastern region of the country.

A-VIEW will be launched in Kolkata on Friday and in Bhubaneswar on Monday, as part of the Bharata Yatra 2013 undertaken by Mata Amritanandamayi, who is the Chancellor of the Amrita University.

West Bengal Commerce and Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee, Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata Director Shekhar Chaudhuri, Jadavpur University Vice-Chancellor Souvik Bhattacharyya and C S Kumar of Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur are expected to attend the function in Kolkata.

Ministry of Human Resource Development Additional Secretary N  K Sinha will address the participants online via A-VIEW from New Delhi.

A statement from the Amrita University said that A-VIEW is provided free of cost to all institutes of higher education.
