Vellappally slams DCC leaders

SNDP Yogam general secretary  Vellappally Natesan has come out against the  DCC leaders for passing a resolution against the leaders of NSS and SNDP.

Vellappally said: “The Congress leaders termed me as a liquor seller and Sukumaran Nair as a ‘gumasthan’ (peon). We reached the helm of our  communities through hardwork.

The DCC leaders are still locked at the grass-roots level. I have good experience as the leader of an  organisation. Some members of the minority communities are representing the DCC. They are Ramesh loyalists. At the same time they should understand  that their leaders are wandering in front of the NSS office in Changanassery to get its backing for Chennithala. Their district leaders and MLAs are waiting in front of the door of Sukumaran Nair’s office,” Vellappally said.

“A leader has to act properly and behave politely. The DCC leaders are trying to hog the limelight by spreading canards against community leaders. The present tussle in the Congress is aimed at grabbing power. The sharing of chief minister post is aimed at getting monetary benefit and not for the welfare of the state and the public.

People are facing several problems, including  potable water shortage. But the leaders seem to ignore these problems,” Vellappally said.
