HM evades queries on Nandakumar

Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Wednesday ducked questions about his alleged relationship with controversial middleman and former Reliance employee T G Nandakumar.

Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Wednesday ducked questions about his alleged relationship with controversial middleman and former Reliance employee T G Nandakumar.

About his relationship with the middleman, he told mediapersons that, as a public figure he would have several friends and cannot appear in public by wearing plasters on the face.

The Home Minister also refuted media reports that he had entered into an argument with Aryadan Muhammed at a recent Cabinet meeting. Regarding the Data Centre case, he reiterated that matters had already been explained by the Chief Minister.  The Home Minister said that the State government has not offered any undue assistance to Salim Raj, former gunman of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy who was arrested in a kidnapping case and is facing allegations in land grab cases.
