KOCHI: The LDF Ernakulam District Committee will take out a march to the Collectorate at Kakkanad at 10 am on August 5, against the alleged irregularities in allotting Plus-II batches.
The march will be held as part of the State-wide protest called for by the LDF. There are reports that people who have links with the State Government had demanded bribe for allotting Plus-II batches.
The march, being organised in protest against corruption in the allotment of Plus-II batches, will be held from the premises of the District Cooperative Bank to the South gate of the Collectorate, said convener George Idapparathy. A K Sasheendran MLA will inaugurate the march.
