THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister K M Mani said that the loan limit from the State Insurance will be raised to 90 per cent of the surrender value as against 80 per cent.
The Finance Minister was speaking after inaugurating the state- level evaluation meet of the Insurance Department.
He also noted that all transactions in the Insurance Department will be made online, which was now done through the treasuries.
The Finance Minister said that a grievance cell for the public to register their complaints and a system for monitoring the performance of the staff be soon introduced.
