Double Toned Milk Price Cut by Rs 1 per ltr

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After hiking the price of its double-toned milk by `4 in July, Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (Milma) has decided to reduce the price of this milk type by `1 per litre. Double toned milk will cost `35 per litre from August 10.

A Milma governing council meeting held here on  August 1 had decided to offer `1 discount on the double-toned milk (yellow sachet) in the interests of the consumers, Milma managing director P K Pathak said. The price of other milk varieties will remain the same, Pathak said. When Milma increased milk prices on July 21, the price of the double-toned milk was increased by `4 while the prices of all other were hiked by `3.
