THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will address a special meeting of party leaders at Indira Bhavan, the KPCC headquarters here, on August 12 at 10 a.m.
The event has been included in the itinerary of Sonia Gandhi, as she is arriving in the capital to inaugurate the anniversary celebrations of Kudumbashree Mission on Tuesday.
KPCC president V M Sudheeran will preside over the meet. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and other leaders will attend, apart from Ministers, KPCC office-bearers, executive committee members, former KPCC presidents, DCC presidents, parliamentary party office-bearers, MPs and MLAs and presidents of Congress feeder organisations.
Leaders carrying invitation letters should enter the auditorium before 10 a.m. itself, in view of the security arrangements, said KPCC office general secretary Thampanoor Ravi in a press note.
