KOCHI: The treatment cost of Anilkumar, who was transported from Nagaland to Kochi in a critical condition, will be borne by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kollam.
The emergency medical team of the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) had successfully transported the critically ill patient from Nagaland to AIMS, Kochi, travelling around 3,800 km on Monday. The patient was admitted in the emergency medicine ICU of the hospital. Anilkumar, who hails from a very poor family, has been working as rubber tapper in Nagaland for several years.
