Equipment rusting Away at comtrust weaving factory

KOZHIKODE: Most of the equipment at the Comtrust Weaving Factory at Mananchira, which is awaiting takeover by the government, are rusting away as they are lying idle owing to the closure of the company in 2009. Besides, most of them have been stolen by antisocial elements. There is only one person at present to man the factory, which was established by Basel Mission 153 years ago
