Plus-II: Notice Sent to Cabinet Sub-panel

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the Cabinet sub-committee headed by the Education Minister, which prepared the  controversial list of Plus-II schools that was struck down by the court.

Justice P R Ramachandra Menon issued the order on a petition filed by the Government Higher Secondary School, Perikkalloor, Wayanad, challenging the State Government’s order declining Plus-II batches for it.

The petitioner challenged the fresh list published by the Cabinet sub-committee, surpassing the six-member committee headed by   the Higher Secondary Education Director.

Meanwhile, 10 schools moved the court, challenging the State’s decision to alter the list. The court extended the interim order to all the petitioners.

Plus-one Admission Put on Hold
